Puberty for Educators
Puberty education is the foundation of positive mental and sexual health development of youth.
To help educators offer evidence-based puberty education, we have compiled a list of credible resources, including lesson plans, teaching tools, videos, and more!
The following resources (available in English and French) for grades 4–8 come from Teaching Sexual Health, an Alberta Health Services Initiative. These lesson plans provide creative, age-appropriate ways to teach puberty health education. All lesson plans include material lists and are free for printing.
