Financial Support for Healthy Eating
Healthy eating is important for you and your baby. Money is available to pregnant people and for families with children under the age of one. If eligible, you will get these funds monthly. This money will help with the extra costs of eating healthy during pregnancy and throughout your child’s first year.
You are eligible to receive this money if:
- You are pregnant or have a child under the age of one,
- You receive income support benefits or have a family net income that meets the income cut off,
- You are a permanent resident of Newfoundland and Labrador.
